Specialized Board and Train Programs

Whether you're struggling to find the time to lay some basic foundations for your pup, or you need some serious help working through your dog's behavioral concerns, we've got you covered.

Our board and train programs are designed around your specific dog, their needs, motivations, and your needs as the human on the other end of the leash.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Where will my dog stay?
Dog's enrolled in our board and train program will stay with us, in our home, with their own personalized room, and are loved and cared for just as our own dogs are.

Our fully fenced 2 acre property features a training field with competition grade agility equipment that we exercise and train our dog's on every day. We believe that our house should be your dog's home away from home, but also a place of learning. Every moment of the day that your dog is awake, they are learning something, so why not allow us to take advantage of those moments and help you help your dog with our immersive board and train programs?

What will my dog work on during their board and train?
All of our programs from behavior modification for dog and human reactivity to star puppy programs, can be turned into a board and train program specific to your dog.

In order to enroll we have a mandatory and preliminary 90 minute evaluation and training session, as well as a 75 minute follow up session that must be completed prior to your dogs stay.

Our evaluation session will allow us to get to know you and your dog, check on their behavioral wellness, set training goals, as well as introduce you to our training methods and philosophies. Once your evaluation is complete, if together we decide that board and train is the right fit for you and your dog, then we will have one more follow up session before your dogs stay. This mandatory follow up session will ensure that you are set up at home with what you will need upon your dogs return, from items and tools to training skill sets and mechanics that the human handler will need to know to succeed.

Once your preliminary sessions have been completed, your dog will begin their personalized board and train program with us. We will provide updates and training videos throughout your dog's stay to ensure that when we bring your dog back, you will know exactly what to do and how to do it.

What happens after my dog comes home?

Since you will have done your initial evaluation and follow up session, you will be prepared already to receive your pup and begin generalization of skill sets! However, to ensure continued success, your board and train package includes 2 complimentary follow up take-home training sessions.

We prefer to do our intial follow up take-home session upon dropping your dog off to you, so that you are immediately able to begin transferring the more advanced skill sets they have learned with us into your home.

Your second follow up session will be based upon continuing to ensure your dog's success in the training program they worked with us. We will schedule this follow up session based upon you and your dog's specific needs and rate of learning. Your second follow up session must be used within 30 days of your dog's return to you.

What if I want to continue training even more advanced skill sets after my dogs board and train?

If you're digging this new way of life with your dog, and want to continue on into sports training or more advanced obedience in public settings, we'll be here for you! Your board and train package will allow you to purchase additional classes and packages at a discounted rate for up to 1 year after completion.

How do I get started with the process of booking a board and train program?

If you are not already a current client, you'll schedule an initial free 10 minute phone consultation with our behavior specialist, Kelly Springer. This phone consult will help us to get a good feel as to what type of training your dog might need, and get you set up with that initial in-home 90 minute consultation session.

How much does it cost to get started?
Our initial preliminary 90 minute evaluation and training session costs $175, and the follow up session $15o to $175 based upon if your dog is working on basic obedience or behavior modification. If we decide after our initial sessions to move forward with board and train, then these two preliminary sessions can be credited toward your board and train program.

Once we have decided upon the proper program for your dog, whether it is a 2 week or 4 week stay, we can then go over rates, payment methods, and payment plans.
